Ok, im confused on throwout bearing/slave cyl

Yet again, i have another issue trying to drive my car again... When we seperated my engine and trans the throwout bearing fell out immediately. So im assuming i need a new one judging by the facti have never seen one like this. So looking up parts, ford is asking me to buy a new clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate. $$$$$$$$
Is there no way of purchasing a new throwout bearing w/o breaking the bank?

Yes, but do I need to upgrade to the 9 and 7/16" clutch/flywheel?

just had the SAME EXACT problem with my svt, don't buy a $199 slave cyclinder from CFM, the Zetec one works perfectly fine. grab one from you local Auto Zone with a Life time warranty.

Do you know the part number anymore because i cannot remember if its advance or autozone, because one of them didnt even carry it for the svt and the other has a cheapo brand for 145 can anyone verify that the 00-04 zetec works with the svt? Special under FI

I do not know the part number, but it was one of thier duralast re manufactured ones for a normal zetec from auto zone. They do not carry one for the svt. It's the same part, only different is the detect version has a slightly larger opening for the bearing for the transmission shaft.

As for using it will FI, I have the stock Luk clutch, so is fine. If you have a heavy duty pressure plate due to using a beef clutch, I recommend getting another slave from the company your clutch came from
