Car runs fine, untill I turn on the A/C?? help?
MY 2.0 dura 05 has never given me problems, untill last week, every time I turn on the A/C the car starts idling very harsh, and feels like it wants to turn off on me. And 2 days ago it actually did die on me when I was waiting to put gas, and it was struggling to turn back on almost like a dead battery? And now every time i use the a/c it stuggles to turn on , if i don't use it , it runs like a champ. Any ideas?>

Maybe your Alternator is struggling under the load, have you tested the voltage?

Any noise coming from the compressor? Bearing going out or locked up would drag it down. If locked up it would fry the belt though and you'd probably notice that.

SilverST, No Noise from the compressor or any of that, so i doubt it.
VEgas, yeah that might be it, i will go get it tested it and keep you guys posted thanks for the input guys.
