Data Logging

I am interested in data logging my cars and I was looking for opinions on what is best. I am not interested in chipping/flashing, more on the diagnostic side of things. I saw this product
http://www.auterraweb.com/dynoscan.html
and it looks like what I am interested in. I would like one that is universal so if I change cars to another manufacturer I can still use it. Are there any other similar products out there? Am I barking up the wrong tree? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I bought a OBD unit from Newegg and I am not sure if will do all you want, they are very cheap. Here is a link.

Thanks, I have seen similar on ebay. The one I linked to is a fancier program, I wonder how the free programs stack up in functionality.

I don't know but the one I bought came a free program that does the logging. My son found a Open Source free program that he said may be more informative.

I have a SCT tuner and their software for my Shelby but you need the SCT tuner to use it. If you plan on going that route, then just wait till you get the tuner since it is free from SCT.
