USB not working
Today I plug in my iPhone like I always do via USB and all it ever does now is index. It indexed for 30 minutes and still nothing. I disconnected and reconnected the iPhone. I turned the car off and re-started the car. I did a master reset on the car. I restarted the iPhone. For no reason all it does is index. If I launch Pandora it works fine. The iPhone plays music fine when it's not connected. I'm not sure if this is an iPhone or car issue. I still have iOS 5 and it had been working fine for months.

I found this online http://www.fiestafaction.com/forums/...ease-wait.html
Mine doesn't have MyFord Touch but I'm going to try it tonight and see if it works. |

I'm not sure why it won't let me link the discussion. Basically someone with a Fiesta and MFT was having the exact same issue. here is the solution that ended up working:
"Yes, you need to pull the Sync fuse (F10 I believe), turn the car on then off and then reinstall the fuse. After you restart it will index for 2-5 minutes and all will be good. I have to do it roughly every two months and it's quite irritating. Hopefully once Ford gets done with fixing the My Ford Touch issues they will get to the Fiesta's Sync system." |

Tried popping off the fuse panel door during lunch and the damn thing wouldn't come off. I didn't want to gouge my interior. I really don't want to have to take it in for service. I'll try it later.

Apparently the fuse panel underneath the glove box. It seems like a project to get it off just to pull a fuse. It still keeps saying indexing. If I play a song and then plug it in, the song plays and I can skip to the next track, but if I try voice commands or searching for a song it says indexing. I guess I'll just have to try the fuse thing
