my preference is amsoil full synthetic. However costco keep putting cases of mobile one on sale so that's what I have stashed up right now.

I'll probably do mobile1 for my first oil change.

Do you guys wait for the service light to come on or what?

I prefer K&N or Mobile 1 filters, (Or amsoil is great too if they make one). Don't skimp on the filter!

The Pennzoil should be just fine, especially at that price! I paid probably closer to 35 bucks for my Mobil 1 and bosch D3330 filter from wal mart.

Pennzoil Ultra Syn with SN rating is what I run. It is probably the best oil for DI engines. It has the most robust cleaning package available pretty much everywhere.

If you have a good source for Amsoil, they are great as well.

You just cant beat WalMart prices on Pennzoil Ultra Syn $28 bucks for 5gal jug

Once SN rating becomes widespread, honestly...all will be great oils

Yes this is good stuff but also very bad for your catalytic converter all that zinc will clog it over time. That why it is for racing only.

Will its is good stuff if you are running a header with out a HFC because the higher zinc. Not saying I use it though. I like Moble 1

The higher zinc content is good for an engine without a cat.

However, the base oil is no better than "non-racing oil" and the additive package is wrong for a daily driven street car.
