PIAA yellow fogs?

Anyone tried these? Little pricey but I'm wondering if the light output would be worth it.

If not, best suggestions?

Exactly what I use, and they are fantastic. No need to spend more on the PIAA fogs.

I've used the Nokyas and Putcos. I think the cheaper Nokyas put out a better yellow.

Stupid question, but have you guys just replaced your fogs to be yellow -- nothing else? Wondering if it's a nice little change to do and it'd look fine with regular headlights.

Well it actually does serve a purpose, yellow cuts through fog better and I live in a high fog area, but mostly it's for looks. I ordered the nokyas earlier, will post pics once I get em.

bought them about three hours ago. Waiting for my ST3 replicas to get here as well (projected 6000K HID), but I plan to do them all at once since you can access the fog lights once the headlamps are removed. PIAA is better than most other brands out there for that kind of light. Just trying to remember the other brand name i was looking at. Get back to you in a minute.

Hoen USA, that's what I was thinking of . . .

Yeah the PIAA are about 1.5 times the price of the Hoen endurance bulbs, but you do get what you pay for. I am not knocking Hoen at all, becasue I was about to buy them (they apparently are quality bulbs), but don't cheap out. When you're talking about parts that can melt oem wiring harnesses and potentially burn your lenses (not making it up, google search), get something decent. Looking at the focus fog light, there appears to be a good amount of room between the bulb and the lens, so maybe melting, discoloration etc. might not be an issue. But generally with the colored bulbs, they have to increase the power of the bulb to make up for the color of it, so the bulb runs hotter and lasts shorter.

Same wattage as stock. How's it going to run hotter? I've been running Putcos or Nokyas for over 2 years. Not a single issue to report.
