Need help with zx3 to svt ebrake cables

i have the svt brake set up on my zx3, i know be jealous lol. anyways how do i get the ebrake cables to work. heres my dilemma i took off the stock zx3 ones, well cut them out...anyways got em out then went to install the svt ones and it seems like the bracket that held in the other ones is to far back. cause it goes cable from handle to a T shape piece off the handle and the end of a short cable to a bracket that the cables hook to, then the cables go back to the brakes, but theres a bracket welded to the car that holds the plastic protective stuff in place so that the cables can work correctly...how do i get it to all work so i have an ebrake again dammit........

Loosen the nut on the cable at the ebrake handle till the cables are even.

i just did svt rear swap on mine and havent done the cable yet. hopefully you figure it out before i do mine so i know what im doing. i

The nut is all the way un-done to the last of the threads. so thats not the issue, would i need the cable off the svt hand brake for it to work? i was told no! Ill have to take pictures for people to get what im taking about, it would make it easier to trouble shoot....

I know when I done my svt rear swap, it came with a different cable. I wanna say they're different. Thought there was a how-to somewhere on this.

this is the bracket that the ebrake cables hook into so the cable can move back and forth in the plastic tube

the metal piece that hook the ebrake handle cable and cables

this is the end of the cables where they hook to the brakes with the ebrake handle all the way down

the nut on the ebrake handle all the way at the end

i finally figured out that the ebrake handle wasnt all the way down but still didnt give me enough slack to hook to the brakes....

i cut my stock cable. hopefully it will make it easier.

Remove the rear calipers. Make sure the pistons are still turned all the way in then attach the cables and reinstall the calipers.

I'd imagine you'd need a new cable. I think the rear SVT Brakes have a longer length to it.
