I fubared, and made 2-5 HP

Consumed 5 beers, installed K & N filter, car was loud and fast. Woke up, installed KAN the right way(1), did SNK delete, cut a huge flap ( see Avatar), had a 2.5" 12226 Magnaflow custom race exhaust put on, and the car boogied.

However if you put the bottom lip of the E-2993 KAN filter outside the bottom of the stock airbox on a 2013, and align the top of the airbox with the filter..

You can only tighten the two left bolts by the MAF and the back bolt on the right of the airbox. your front right bolt is going to way off, giving you a huge amount of make up air as needed.

I didn't have this issue with my E-2993 filter. I just forced the edge of the filter into the ring on the bottom of the box. Pushed the lid on and tightened down the bolts.

You need to be more persuasive if you want the box to listen to you.
