Stock radio 2008 Focus won't start.
Not sure what's going on here. On Thursday I get in my car on my lunch break and my stereo doesn't come on. When I start the car, the head unit displays "Ford Focus" blinks for a second (like it was going switch over to the normal radio display) then just goes back to saying "Ford Focus." No audio, no clock, none of the radio controls work, power button does nothing, effectively dead.
I've tested the three fuses (Sync, Radio Start, and Radio) and they've all checked out good. I disconnected/reconnected the battery, no help there either.
Not sure what else there is I can check without having to basically pull the center console apart to check the wiring, which seems like a pretty long and frustrating process, but it kind of sounds like my last option before taking it in to the dealer for service. Any ideas?
