I did it in my old car. I've attached a wire in parallel with the courtesy light and it's worked fine.

My fear is the BCM. My old car didn't has it.

my car came with bulbs in the footwells, but I was wondering if anyone knew the bulb # because I was thinking of changing the color of it to blue..

Do you had a chance, to take a look while you were there, I mean hahaha how can I pass a wire from the engine bay into the cabin!? I need this to plug my foglights

There should be a grommet behind the glove box.
