Where do you guys run your USB cord?

From the center console arm rest USB connection I am trying to find a place to run the cord out that won't get pinched and I can't find anywhere, what am I overlooking? :)

Mine isn't pinched and I run it out of the passenger side.

I have mine under the rubber tray and out the middle front. Only use it when I need to charge my phone, which sits in the cupholder, so it's not great, but works for now.

Charging and listening to Music on my iPhone as USB has more voice commands than via the Bluetooth.

For music, its easier and less cluttered by just using a thumb drive.

Agree. I stopped using my iPod in the car after the first day I owned my car. Until MFT can index and allow voice control over Bluetooth, I'll stick to my flash drive. Drag and drop is also easier than dicking around with iTunes.

If you have your Focus like mine (SE is another story), then you should be able to pass the USB cable through your center console and it should not get pinched. Put the cable on the side of the closing mechanism (see the "point" here => ---\_./---) and the locking mechanism should not pinch your cable. I then run the cable to the back of my seat then under the rubber door molding up to the A pillar where I have my iPod#iPhone mount.

The cord can be run out of either of front corners. It doesn't pinch the cable at all as those are the soft points.

BTW, These USB's are AWESOME for SYNC. Mine are 16gig, and I have 2800 songs, including some 60+ minute long mix sessions, on two of these that I swap out from time to time, and the profile is TINY, so they don't get in the way.
