Depo Mach HID Headlights for SVT

I know these are knock-offs of the OEM ones. Are these worth buying? I found them for $140 a piece and want to know how the build quality is. Can I safely put HID's in them?
Do these have auto leveling?

they dont have auto leveling, neither does teh mach housing.

they are a direct replacement for the mach hid headlamps, so the pretty much ahve to take hid's to work. you are going to need ballasts, bulbs (size ds2) and igniters. the bulbs are easy t ofind. igniters and ballasts not so much.

as for quality they are on par with factory maybe a little bit cheaper. i ahve them on my focus and they ahve worked great over the last 3 years.

unfortunately no. you have to use the oem ford stuff as its pre wired for that on the headlamps. the ballast sits under the light and is bolted to teh bottom. and the igniter goes on teh back of the bulb. i will warn you the oem ballasts can be very expensive. but they are worth it..

also to make it owrk on a non euro equipped svt you need to do some eiring harness work. i'll find the thread for you.

Geez! $280 for Depo assemblies + $150 for 2 ballasts + $60 for the igniters. Almost $500 for this???
I like the OEM look but not for 500 bucks. that's like a brand new Borla exhaust!

Is there any sort of "conversion" kits for these?

I guess I might have to go that route. I like buying brand new stuff but for the difference of about $200 I guess I am gonna start looking.
