Employee Pricing - any other discounts?

I had a look at the Ford Canada site and built a 2013 Focus. Can I expect any other discounts from MRSP other than the employee discount - I plan to order a car as there is not one in my area with the configuration that I want.

not sure about Canada incentives but you should receive applicable rebates on top of plan pricing.

Most likely, current rebates will not apply to a 2013 model. Rebates usually are intended to sweep out the outgoing models at the end of the season. But who knows how it is in Canada. Check fomoco website for Canada.

Do you mean ford.ca or is there some other site I should check? The ford site shows the MRSP and delivery charges as well as the employee discount amount. What I am thinking is even after the employee discount is subtracted there must be some profit for the dealer. What I don't know is how much that is and whether a dealer would be prepared to surrender part of it in negotiations.

All u can do is ask, but remember u make a living and go home with income to pay your bills, make sure u negotiate to take home what u sell for a living. Employee discount is your non negiotiated price to pay and then take off the rebates at the time for that vehicle. Any dealer charging less than the stated price and audited is subject to financial consquences by ford. Be reasonable, they have to be there next week to answer all your questions and repair it when it needs it. Remember warranty repairs don't cost u, but they have to be in business to provide it for u.
