considering CFM Underdrive Pulley Kit for '03-11 2.0/2.3L Duratec Focus

Hey everyone , im thinking about what to do to my car next and i ran across this CFM Underdrive Pulley Kit for '03-11 2.0/2.3L Duratec Focus and i was curious if anyone else had these , how do you like them , did you notice and actuall difference ? also i was reading one of the reviews on them and 1 dude said after installing these he had to get a different belt due to the old one being too big after installation , im just wondering what the common consensus on these parts were as far as this community is concerned ,do these parts actually require a difference size belt ?
Thanks in advance
Jeremy

yes they need a smaller belt... the basic idea is the pully is smaller, makes your accessories run slower, less drag.. if its your daily driver in hot weather avoid it since it will effect your Alternator being able to make enough power to keep battery charged with AC Pumped all the way up with a headlights on.

If its your weekend warrior vehical go for it and gain the few HP but IMO not worth it. More then I willing to trade off since I rather have my AC in Vegas and Car stereo full blast, I even added a larger G6 200 amp alternator.

Thats one thing people say yah or nay= no tweeners. I have a set of cfm's on a 23 w/ no issues. Uses a small crank pulley & bigger w/p pulley= uses the stock belt.

The gains you might see are not worth the trouble to install the part , if installed wrong your looking for a new engine

Udp's are not worth it. They don't give enough back to warrant buying and installing.

It does slow the alt. down. W/ some alt.'s going out w/ low miles that could help that.
