Car got a much needed bath today. Man I love a clean car.

Also I made a custom face for my Glowshift gauge.

I bought some printable sticker sheets from Staples.

I photoshopped the gauge to get the colors and look to match the OEM ones.

Original Scan

After Photoshop

Then I cut a circle of clear Lexan to stick the new face on.

I had to use some tissue paper behind the lexan so that it would spread out the light from the LED's. The color is slightly off but it looks great with the dash.

Thanks a lot. It was very easy to do actually. You need to mask off more than I did. There was some overspray that was a pain to get off.

Do at least 5 coats and it will peel great. I used a toothpick to get in to the small places.

So I decided that the "sandpaper" grain on the radio bezel needed to go. So I sanded and sprayed it matte black to match the rest of the surround.

I wrapped the fading door deco trim pieces as well.

Also. I am planning in making a euro styled reverse light into the rear diffuser. It will look cool and help ALOT with visibility.

Photoshopped.

Thanks. I appreciate it.

The tail lights are from Instyle Parts or something. I can't remember exactly.

They are these except red.

I believe a clay bar is supposed to only be used once a year. I did it for the first time last weekend. Excellent results. I wax it every couple weeks(usually once a month) depending on how much rain there is. I do use spray detailed every other day which helps a lot. Being that its black the dust shows up quick so that's why i do it so frequently.

Yeah, fair enough. That sounds about right for clay bar. Once a month for waxing is amazing! I don't know how you find the time to do that. Lol
