Cool Trying to decide on turbo

Alright, so i've been piecing together a turbo kit, and i've just about got everything i need except the main component, the turbo. Im looking at two different turbo's, one is an holset WH1C, and the other a garrett airsearch TO4B35. Both appear to be good turbo's, but this is my first actual turbo build, not entirely new to the whole turbo thing, but when it comes to specific turbo's, thats where im lacking knowledge. My power goals that i hope to reach would be about 330-350whp, 290-315wtq. I know some people are more biased, and of course garretts are good turbo's, and holset appears to be pretty good also. Opinions down below please and thanx.

Why those turbos in particular? Do you have compressor maps for them? What turbine inlets do they use?

Here is a rebuilt T04B35: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Garrett-AiRe...-/221115095687

LOLL thats actually the one i was looking at XD. I tried to find a compressor map for the holset, but couldn't. And as far as why those two, well, price on them both are great, and both look to be able to get the job done because i was looking at another garrett before that was a bit smaller, and would've gotten me to about 240-250.

Yeah the price is good, but you really need to find a compressor map for each of them to help you plot out exactly what the turbo is going to do on your car. There is also fitment considerations, such as what the turbine inlet is (T3?) and if you can find flanges for the turbine inlet and outlets.
Most people stick with the GT series garrett turbos because they fit well in small places, flow a ton of air, spool quickly, have common fittings/flanges and are well-documented.
Edit: there are others of course such as Turbonetics and Precision that are also in that category.

Oh and actually, i should've noticed that too since the exhaust flange on the holset is different, the garrett should be fine though for the manifold i have (SPA).

Edit: Actually looks like either should fit, just the holset is split port
