I popped the hood and cant see any cover that would have this chain.

timing cover... you'd have to remove all the pulleys, accessory drive belt, motor mount & who knows what else to see it whole. if you need to see it that bad then just remove the cam cover.

All i wanted to know was how much work i needed to do when i would go to change it. You just anwsered that for me thanks. Some work is needed but not a whole lot in my eyes.

Ye i was gunna do chain, water pump, thermastat, timing belt, and possibly altenator. Also maybe a possible cam swop.

Seeing how my wife's car is closing in on 100k, it might be a good within the next 50k to replace the chain. Could also be a good time to put in some better cams too!!

Be sure to lock those cams down with the timing tool kit, once u take that Crankshaft bolt out without it your screwed!
