it doesn't increase the sound. It will just look better ;)

But if you do a resonator delete like I did and weld a 2 inches walker pipe to your stock exhaust with a stainless steel tip, it will sound better ( a deep sound ). here my pic and my vid !

*I have the Steeda short ram intake too on that sound shot
*Job done at Monsieur Mufler

Nothing noticeable.

Buy a full kit. Research Borla, Magnaflow and FSWERKS for starters. Those are the top 3 available for your Focus.

it does, a little bit... when i had my silverado with a full exhaust a double wall tip made it rumble a lil diff than a single wall tip with rolled in edges. Im guess the rolled up part created a little turbulence at the end and it rumbled a tiny bit more. While the double wall had a little packing in it and the edges were smooth out

Those vids make me glad I bought the Borla kit... Definitely sounds better than the other two.

Plus it has the nicest looking tip!

The thickness of the metal and what metal you use and what length the tip is from the muffler can all affect sound output. Years ago a friend of mine and me experimented with several different pipes all same diameter in size. But different wall thickness and even different metals. Believe it or not he ended up settling on brass tailpipes that were about a foot long from the muffler. The brass had a different sound from the stainless pipe and even from the aluminized steel pipe. Even the cut of the angle affected the sound from the pipe. I'll admit it sometimes it wasn't as noticable but we listened to the car and the recordings we did dozens of times and even if it was small there were still differences there. This was on a 70 chevelle with solid cam small block 350. He settled on the brass cause at higher RPMS he said it sounded harmonious like dozens of tubas, lol. Ain't to sure if it sounded that way but it sure sounded good.

That video of the Magnaflow was my old Focus. So shut your whore mouth.

I liked that exhaust for DD lol. Not too loud, not too quiet. And only $80 used.

80 bucks huh... That's ummm.. much.. less than I paid for my used Borla.

So why don't you go back to your home on Whore Island.
