Want something with more power. Thought I wouldn't mind the compromise for the extra MPG but I'd rather pay a little more and be happy when I press the gas pedal.

Nope, ended up trading it in on something I actually enjoy driving. Took a big hit on it but it was worth it to not have to put up with the garbage transmission anymore.
