Don't care about the corporation aspect. Just liked the fact it had a much better atmosphere. Wasn't all dark and dingy like track21. Also track is bigger which was nice. Guess since I can compare the 2 I like this one more imo.

Also doesn't hurt that K1 is closer to me than track21.

It's more expensive (tolls) for me to go to K1, and the dark dingy atmosphere is what gave the place great character. Not to mention the Lazar tag which was awesome. They also redid the track from what I heard, it's much bigger now.

Is it really closer to you? figure it would be farther since it's the exact opposite side of town your on?

Wait a minute, don't you live in El Paso? Or are you in Houston?

Track21 is opposite side if town from me. K1 is more NW from me but is still 15-20 minutes closer. If track21 redid their track to make it bigger by using most of their indoor space then that is most likely due to the competition they are getting from K1. And while track21 does have lazer tag it is an additional cost to the race. But it does provide an optional form of entertainment. As for K1 being more corporate so what(imo). Its a much nicer place for families and such. I like being able to see where I drive lol. The "atmosphere" of track21 is more suited to a bar or club, not for racing imo.

The extra costs of tolls for you does suck though.

I dunno I just wasn't impressed by K1. All they have are the karts no other form of entertainment besides one pool table and a couple of games.

I was surprised they had a pool table and a couple of video games. I went there only expecting racing. If I want multiple forms of entertainment i'll go to an amusement park like six flags lol.
