Sounds like your rings are done for.
Eating 3qts in a month and a half if very excessive. To the point where the car must look like Pig Pen driving down the road?

the tip of the spark plug was oily? can you see lots of residue on the pistons when you pull the plugs?

the engine is likely toast simply from driving with 1.5 qts in it. probably time for a rebuild reguardless.

Matt

Keep a 5qt jug of oil with u at all times i would check it every day. The more u drive it like this the more ur are destroying ur cat i got away with it for a lil while cause i had an orp. Dont down shift just coast. Baby it as much as possible if u have to drive it

If the engine was rebuilt, they may have installed rings upside down. The rings are designed to scrape the oil down, but if you install them upside down they will pull oil into the combustion chamber.

What would the valve cover pressure blow tell me? You think #3 is problematic? I thought only 1 & 2 were problematic...

Just looked into this, because it popped up when looking for something else. I am sure by now you have this figured out, but on my car it was blow by from the PCV system throwing oil into the intake. Pull the intake tube off the throttle body and open the throttle wide and look inside. I f oil is present there is only one main way for that to happen. PCV system no other oil should be present.
