Need help electrical issue still

2001 Ford focus zx3 dohc. What gauge wire goes from the battery positive to the alternator and starter and is is 2 seperate cables that go to the alternator and starter or just 1. Also If there is 2 or 1 cables what size inline fuses are they i believe 75A or 80A Please help.

Wire size is 16mm2

The in line fuse is 175 Amp

16mm2 is just a little smaller than 4 gauge

I have heard of people using 2 gauge

You need a hydraulic crimper to install terminals to what is regard as a 'gas tight crimp'

Visit a welding shop they probably have the crimping tooling
