I heard in Illinois you can not if its 9 years or newer.. Idk I will look into it.

By state law, you are not able to buy back a car that is declared totaled and is of 9 years or newer.. God, I hope they don't total it.

So what's the situation when your call is totaled and you have a bunch of aftermarket parts in it, maybe even turbo, are you allowed to pull that off and keep it?

Thats where all the receits come in. I had to fight a insurance company once w/ a 5.0 & lots of suspension mods. I got t-bone w/ a guy going the wrong way= going the wrong way on a 1 way street= no stop sign & right into me.
