Second'ed.

Let's try to get some things set-up fellow Fanatics. I personally will do what-ever I can to help anyone out. Once we get a some people posting we can start doing small meets, ect. CENTRAL FLORIDA people there is a track about 7 miles past UCF. They run bracket racing, pro street, 1/4 mile, test and tune, ect.

This is a great opportunity to everyone, anyone trying to learn about cars or just hang out come out and support the Focus community.

I think he might have made the group private, would explain why neither of us could find it.

Also, any if you guys have a good hookup on tires? I'll be looking at some 235/40-17 toyo r888/proxes ra1 or nitto nt01 in the near future.

I don't race my car, but it has BFG Super Sport Comp 2's on it and seems to drive fine. Just loud, never heard them squeal though.

I am a big fan of the Nitto's, I ran a version of Nitto's on my Camaro. The car hooked really good with them. I also had great luck with Hankook V2's.

My current street tires are 215/45 Goodyear asymmetric 2's and they are great for DD business. My buddy has a set of same size hankook v12's on his civic si and s2k for DD business and they are awesome tires for the price. You can get any tire to squeal if you try hard enough ;)

I had 225/45-17 hankook rs3's for Autox tires before I ran through them and switched to Dunlop z2's. Was a huge fan of the rs3's, not as much the z2's. I will need the rcomps though once I get my supercharger installed, I can guarantee that my small z2's will be useless trying to put the power down and hence my need for the rcomps :)

Not to be a downer, but maybe the central florida guys wanted their own group that is a bit more relevant?
