Track time 1/4 mile times

Hey all

Just thought I would leave info about my first track time with the svtf. At first times were just pure crap and later more crap. Drove like a [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]** and launched like shit, like 16.3 on the first run and a 16.23 on the next 2 runs. the next 3 runs were consecutive crap at 16.13@ 87.37 with consistantly crappy r/t's of 1.02 with 60 foots of 2.35 . I was running dial in and dialed a 15.9, then it happened lauched way to hard and spun the freaking tires for what seemed like 5 second then pinged the red line and shut it down ran a 25.778@ say 52.033 and boom broke out on the last couple of runs with r/t's of.766 with 60 footers of 2.23 ant et's of 15.6 and 15.557 @87.78 this is bone stock with just over 1/4 tank of fuel at an outside track temp of about 76 or so. with say 25 to 30 pounds of crap in the trunk. The reason my times were crap in the beginning was simply piss poor launches on my panzy ass part . Gotta drive it like you stole it. My buddy w/ srt 4 stage 1 kit ran13.9 @ 101 and my other friend ran 12.1 @ 117 in his svt cobra w/ the venom package. Any ways i'm pretty happy with 15.6 @ 87 first time at the track with bone stock svtf.

ya man its moroso, i think i saw your run before i left that night. If that was you , then you bogged down real bad. and hence the 16.6 you need to feather the clutch

nah, dont think that was me, I didnt really bog. Jessica did a lil on her two runs (hence her 17.0 runs). I got a lot of wheel hop on full tire pressure. Plus it was the first time ever running it, had to get a feel for her Did you have your focus there that night cause I didnt see any other ones? We went about 2 weeks ago on Wednesday.
