OMG the new Civics are so ugly. I swore they couldn't get any worse, but they managed it.

Heya, Glad you can finally have some peace of mind after all you went through. I have read your ''adventure'' and can relate, in part, with some of the issues you had. Dang, you must feel good about this, anyhow, you deserve it, gratz man!!

I sincerely wish you the best of luck and loads of fun with the Escape. Btw, I went on a 1500 Km trip recently and saw dozens of Escape on the road and they are looking quite spiffy.

That looks like it will be quite interesting and a good replacement for Disaster Transport.
Just remember in2013 this will be a first year ride also.

B&M doesn't push the limits as far as Intamin, so the chances of it working most of the time are much higher than with Top Thrill Dragster or any of the other Intamin rides in the park, lol.

Rode Wild Eagle 20 times at Dollywood last fall. Same type but a little smaller but it's a great ride. Just wanted to stick with the first year theme. I'm a big B&M fan that's where my screen name comes from.

Unfortunately I feel I am in the same shoes..
2012 Focus SE Hatchback 5 speed with ~25k miles.
So far, the A Pillar was not properly bolted on, both front seats have had back springs break, AC vent wouldn't move, engine overheat, replaced clutch, factory body panel punctures, and now its in for an engine knock and the carpeting tearing apart.
I'm not sure how much worse your situation was, but after a month worth of Warranty repairs since 5/19/12, I'm getting sick of taking work off to have my car fixed.
If I may ask, who did you contact about the buyback? I'm tempted to send an email to headquarters and the dealer I bought the car from, but I don't want my email to just get "lost".

Hi TBrown1992.

I can check out some options to assist you. Can you please PM me your name, phone number, VIN, mileage, and dealer info? I'll pass your info along to a customer service manager for review.

Thanks!

Ashley

That's an amazing story ! You have seats that have broken springs ? Carpet tearing apart ? Incredible ! You either have the worst car in history, OR you pack it full of football players and drive it off road!

I'm a pretty big guy at 6'3" and about 275 and I drive my car about 72 miles a day, five days a week. My Focus does not even have a hint of ANY of the problems that you outlined. Now I have only had the car for on year and 17, 000 miles so maybe that's the difference ??
