best mpg anyone has gotten driving only in sport mode?

My poor grandchildren! Sadly, this car probably still gets better mpg in sport mode than many other cars on the road.

But no, I haven't tried it. But considering gas mileage ranges from 23 to 43 depending on the driver/conditions/car, finding any information that will help you is probably statistically insignificant.

well if i drive conservatively I get about 36 mpg on a tank. in normal drive mode. if i just drive normall/ little agressive in drive mode i get about 31 mpg per tank. And i am SoCal driving on 405 fwy everyday. Just didnt know if it would know it down like 5 mpg or less than that driving that same way. thats all.

I do 100% S -manual select shift mode. 13k miles average 31mpg about 50/50 city/hwy..

Why would you not want to use 6th gear for freeway driving?

Sorry for sounding dumb, but when im in drive it doesnt got to 6th gear? only when im in sport mode?

Sport will keep it out of 6th.

Also, in the city I get the best mileage out of it when the car never sees 6th.

In automatic S mode (i.e. no manual shifting), 6th gear is not used.

If you are cruising on the freeway in D, try selecting S and you will notice that the RPMs increase (the transmission will shift from 6th to 5th).

Usually when i am in sport i manaually shift up. so when cruising ont he freeway D is best and for city sport would be best? Also to conserv gas at what rpm do you tink i should shift up to the next gear? again sorry i am noob.

Yes if you were in drive on the freeway and shift into S without holding the + toggle the car will down shift to 5th and remain in S auto mode.

However if you hold the plus toggle at the same time as you shift into S mode then it shifts into S manual mode and holds 6th gear. Under that condition the rpms will not change unless the vehicle speeds up or slows down.
