I always thought two different kits were made,but it probably was just the tuning and throttle body.

this CAN be run on a svt and as a matter of fact i had it bolted to a SVT head for kicks and giggles a few months back. all that needs to be done to run it on a SVT is to have a machine shop slot the intake manifold runners on the supercharger to match the SVT head. that would take a few hours and probably $50

okay guys ive been getting pm's and texts like crazy all night since i put up this thread with people wanting to make payments. thats fine if that's what you want to do but i really dont want to get paid for this in $50 increments over the next 5-6 months. Ice Frogg was the first person to contact me with a reasonable payment plan offer but i would still rather sell this all at one time. i am going to let this run until the end of next weekend and if noone comes up with the money to pay for the supercharger all at once by that time then the sale will go to ice frogg.

What's the ease of installation of this kit versus a turbo? And what's the difference in ease of upkeep for a n00btard?

i couldnt really say which is easier. they are both equally a pain in the ass but in different ways. with a turbo kit there is alot more little fiddly stuff that tends to take longer on the install. and the supercharger involves turning alot of bolts in tight spaces which is frustrating as hell unless you have the head off the car in which case you bolt the supercharger to the head BEFORE you put it back on the block. upkeep imo is much easier on the JRSC. who am i kidding? upkeep on the JRSC is damn near non-existent. you put the supercharger on the car and change the oil in it once every 30k-40k miles and change the belt at about the same interval. it easier to change the supercharger oil than it is to change the motor oil. so you just basically ignore it. turbo kits CAN be extremely temperamental. sometimes if you cut the car off before giving the turbo that minute or so cool down at idle too many times you can cook it if i understand the concept correctly. wastegate and blowoff valve springs can go bad causing losses in boost pressure or in the case of a friend of mine the BOV stuck shut and kept causing overboost and blowing the intake tube off the throttlebody. but the payoff is definitely there with the turbo because it is much more efficient and doesnt have the power limitations of a supercharger. it just depends on what you want.

Then I'd rather do this hands down. Less screwing with is superior for the first time I boost a fuel injection motor. If I like boost enough to move to a turbo I'll probably get nearly what I put into it when I sell it.
