Steeda SRI Finally Installed

Hey guys finally got my intake installed ( YAY!!!!!!!) Pretty straight forward install but it does fit snug..... I have never had an aftermarket intake before and i was wondering... When i was letting it idle i could hear a gurgling/popping sound coming from the cone??? Is that normal i mean everything is tight and No CELs (YAY!!!!!!!!!) and car is running great just wondering if that sound is normal ????? Other than that it is awesome and sounds AMAZING!!!!!!!! plus you can feel a difference off the bat... Now is there any number of miles it takes for the computer to recognize the SRI????? sorry for the crazy questions never had an intake before and want to make sure everything is alright...

Sounds normal to me. The ECU noticing the intake is sort of mythology.

I'm actually surprised at the difference in the car...... I didn't think it would make that big of a difference....pleasantly surprised now to see if I can get some more MPGs....

you won't get any more mpg's because your foot will be in the throttle more to hear it roar!!

I have had the SRI for almost a year and I track my fuel usage. I have not noticed any change in MPG that is worth talking about.
