To do a black roof wrap or not to..

That is the question? What do you guys think about doing a matte black roof wrap or maybe a carbon fiber roof wrap?

Its been done, first some one tried with plastidip but that was too much of a pain, then they went with a black CF vinyl wrap, looks interesting, but its still not the same as an actual carbon fiber panel. So on balance I'd say its not a good look unless you were going for the two tone effect. Its your car so do what ever you want. Just expect a bunch of resistance from people who do not like this idea.

A black wrap has been a debate I've been having for months. One concern of mine is that vinyl doesn't look as good as actual paint, but it's still really good. I think on your colour it could work really well, especially with a hatch.

How about the American Flag? The car is built in Michigan.

In my opinion, roof wraps look very good. It's not the most noticeable part of the car, so when you finally notice, it's like, "huh... I like that" :P

Go with the plain black vinyl

I think they look kind of cool too... except I have dark blue so it's kind of pointless. Unless I went all FJ Cruiser and got a white roof....
