Most cost effective complete turbo install for 2000 Zetec+MTX75 Zx3.
I've got a 2000 Zx3 Zetec 5-speed manual in need of some boost. I'm buying something in 2-3 weeks. I'd also like recommendations of reputable installers in DFW, TX.

Here's what I want:

#1 Mild boost that won't entail overhauling the tranny, brakes, exhaust et cetera right away. I like to do things like that with my Sundays, and having a shop do those parts kills my fun.

#2 Quick spooling

#3 ALL the parts. If they need to be purchased separately --I need the whole list.

#4 Estimates for what a reputable shop should charge to install the kit. I'm new to this part of car-topia, so I don't know what going labor times/rates are for these cars.

#5 Budget of $2500-$4000 for kit+install+tune.

than i would suggest doing some research. i had to do a lot. search the forums. Garret also has some great technical articles.

What is the basic list of parts I will need? Not brands or models --just the parts.

Once I know that --the rest will be easier.

Need injectors, turbo manifold, turbo, intercooler, intercooler pipping, blow of valve, wastegate (if going external), oil lines (feed and drain), those are the basics

There's a guy selling a pretty complete roush turbo kit for a steal of a price for what's included. He's been trying to sell it for weeks, check the BST section.

It can be done. I have about 1800 in my whole kit. Most of its custom though.
