it is just the springs. i got the back ones on today. doing the front ones monday when i have some time and a vice grip so i can actually get the springs off the struts

No!!! DO NOT USE A VICEGRIP. You could possibly hurt yourself. Go to a local autoparts store like pep Boys or Autozone and rent a spring compressor, once you are done, most places will give you a full refund.

That sounds dangerous . You can rent a spring compressor from the auto parts store. It would be much safer to use than Vice Grips. I don't even know how you could use them anyways to compress the springs lol

Just be aware your shocks will ware out faster and get an alignment done. Otherwise you should be fine and enjoy.

You should only mess with springs ifbtoy have the right tools. If those things shoot off I wouldn't doubt that they could kill you.

i have compressors that i am using but my problem is getting the tophat off of the top of the strut to switch out the spring. the shaft nut would just spin along with the shaft...any suggestions?
