How to remove outside door handles on 08-11?

Hey guys, I want to do noc my door handles. Can anyone tell me how to remove them so I can di noc them off the car to make my life easier

you have to remove that door panel and access the clips on the inside. if you wanna do that let me know i am taking my door panel off in the next couple days and i can take a few how to pics for you

yeah, door panel has to come off first then there are two 10mm bolts that hold the window in. lift window out then you can get to the torx screws for the handle and clips for the rods to pull it out. carefull not to break anything.

First pull the mirror control cover by pulling straight out

pull the cover on the handle. be careful like kipp said clips can be broken(i have broken one on that.

There are 2 t30 torx screws you have to remove under there
Then pull up the window control module. carefully pry up the side closest to the back of the car first. another t30 torx is revealed.

screws on bottom and back edge of door.


once all of that is removed pry straight out from the bottom and work your way up, be careful you will be pry on your paint. start pulling out(it may be a bit tough first time) once all clips are released tap it straight up over the lock and disconnect your wires.

You should post that over on the audio board, that is immensely helpful to people wanting to upgrade speakers.

HMmmmmmmm I wonder how hard it would be to put in automatic window buttons for every switch on the driver side door?
