Brad has a '12 & I have a '13. There was no change. Undue the bottom control arm. Bottom shock bolt. Two bolts at top of shock in wheel well. Shock is out.

What interior trim piece are you talking about? When removing the rear shock there is absolutely no need to do anything with the interior.

How else do you unbolt the top bolt of the rear shock without removing the interior trim in the trunk?

Yeah one on top one on the bottom. The top one is accessed from the top of the rear shock tower from inside the trunk

Wow that would of saved some headache. I unbolted it from the top.
I still don't really get how those two bolts look from the bottom of the car to hold the shock to the rear shock tower because the shock goes through the rear tower and is bolted from the inside
