Sony Premium Audio System

I have a 2012 Focus SEL with the Sony Premium Audio System--10 speakers and subwoofer. Today I hit the remote door unlock button and opened the front door. Immediately, I heard the loudest deep "crackling" noises coming from my speakers--even though the radio was not on. [I used to play in a band and it was exactly the same sound you get when you plug an instrument into a "hot" amp, only it went on and on and rotated from speaker to speaker.] I got in the car and tried to turn down the sound but couldn't because the radio was not on--nor was the car. I inserted the key and turned on the engine and everything stopped and returned to normal. The radio came on with no distortion and played at the normal volume. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
