For Sale: Duratec 2.3L 88mm forged pistons

For sale is a brand new set of 88mm (.020" over) forged pistons. 11:1 compression. I am looking to get $350 OBO for these. PICS:

I couldn't bring myself to pull and replace a perfectly good engine on my focus. It wasn't the first part I bought, either. I have an entire short block ready to be put together. Crank, new bearings, ARP studs, eagle rods, gaskets, 39# cobra injectors, etc.

I am building a custom motorcycle. Trying to sell off some of these pieces to finance that.

what kind of power gains or powerband can be had by installing these piston heads and raising the compression to 11:01 on the duratec block sir??

It really depends on what other mods go with these. Assuming everything else is stock, one can expect to gain a figure in the ballpark of 20HP at peak. Add a CAI, cams and a cat-back exhaust, then we might be getting up around 40HP.

I am not a tuner. If you really want an idea, take a look around the web for some duratec dyno charts for NA foci.

Thanks for the interest and the bump, but be aware that these pistons will not fit your SVT.
