The turbo mounts on the top of the cat, in the front of the engine. As far as long term reliability, I've never owned a boosted vehicle before, so I am not a resident expert on those things.

As a bit of "this is what I think" advice; one would think that if used properly, a turbo would put less strain on an engine, considering that it is not another accessory that the motor has to turn while under load.

go figure, someone offered EAP rims and tires locally in trade for my roush bumper, but if i get rid of that i dont really want the kit =\

as far as reliability, if you don't beat the hell out of your car then it'll last, and cooling the turbo down correctly of course
