Strange issue playing MP3 CD...

Hello,

I have a 2012 SE, and there is this weird issue with an MP3 CD I have: Every morning when I start the car, the disc ejects. I have to put it in 20 more times, then it eventually recognizes it. At first, I thought maybe there was something wrong with the disc, so I made a new one. Same problem.

Anyone ever have this happen?

Sounds like a bad disk. It's not recognizing the data on it. Try burning a new disk and see if it works better.

The player will attempt to read the disc when you start the car. If it is unable to read it, the disc will be ejected as you experienced.

Of course there are 2 possibilities: The disc(s) or the player itself.

I would suggest trying other discs (audio and MP3) to help determine the source of the problem.
