I traded in my 2004 Mustang GT for my SE Sport Focus. While I must say that I do find myself missing the mustang, my wife and I plan on starting a family soon so we needed something bigger. Plus, driving a Mustang GT during the winter in rural Indiana where I frequently have to drive on un-plowed, snow-covered roads can get... interesting...

Oh, and going from 16-18mpg avg. to 30ish mpg is nice too!

MPG's seems to be a trending topic here, Focii are defintily good for that, i traded down from my 08 jetta GLI 6 speed sport package. loved that car, leather and power everything with a really simple feal too it, with the focus i lost a good bit of power from that turbo, but the gas mileage is much better, and boy do i love a hatch ;)

The MPG savings from my Yukon to the Focus has been enough to make the payment, as well as keep another $250 in my pocket monthly!

Lots of driving at 30mpg is MUCH cheaper than lots of driving at 13mog. Going to replace the Yukon in the spring with an older Suburban to tow the boat.....paid in CASH from the fuel savings. Then I'll have the best of both worlds!

Cam from A MINI

I originally posted in the wrong thread.. OOPS>..

I traded in my 2010 MINI Cooper John Cooper Works for a 12 SEL, loaded with all the goodies including the parking tech. While I miss the MINI's 250HP tune I had on it, I never really drove it to that potential. Most of my driving is highway on the weekend with a weekday commute of 5 miles, not stop and go. My MINI when I drove like a grandma averaged 32, the Focus is 36.5. I'm pretty happy, especially considering getting 0% financing for 60 months.. :)

I traded from my 08 Focus Sedan to a 2011 Sonata 2.0T. The sonata had to have the transmission replaced 3 times and then the turbo went up. Picked it up from the shop and drove right to the Ford dealership and bought my 2012

My 08

My Sonata.

My 2012

^Hey, Pacific Blue Pearl. My 2011 Sonata was the exact same color. And it had a horrible transmission too!

I traded in my 97 geo metro. Everything is nicer on the focus except for the gas mileage. I lost about 10 mpg on the focus titanium but I'm not sure if that qualifies as a downgrade. I couldn't bear to trade in my titan as need a truck for hauling and towing. Plus the titan although older has features the focus does not have.

Gas was 2.40 cents a gallon when i purchased the truck. With gas over 4$ a gallon it does not get much use as a commuter these days....and suffering 110 degree weather in the metro with no ac was getting old!

I hope the focus does not end up as a downgrade from the metro all the mft and dct threads have me freaked out.

Lol. Really? Can anything be a downgrade from a Geo Metro?

We will see, if I end up with a ton of problems then yes...I have already noticed the suspension clunk, that there seems to be no fix for...I hope it does not get alot worse.
