Mirror Turn Signal Swap
A few members have done this and a few have asked how to do this, so here is a quick how-to pic description of how to change your puddles and mirror turn signal lights. Both sockets are 168/194 wedge. This would be applicable to those of you who don't like the little amber dot in the signals or want to throw a different color into your puddle lamps. Or maybe you just blew a bulb?

Yes, standard 168/194 wedge. I'll edit the first post. Thanks!

Now how hard would it be to pop off the turn signal lense and put a led strip in there?

Damn those are some ugly feet...
![]() I mean, awesome, thanks for the write-up. I'm thinking about doing some LED's in there. Think there'd be any problems? |

I usually have slippa's on. The thong line really ruins the amount of sexy contained within... People are already dropping in the LED's. You need to get the 168/194 wedge type, and probably can't fit anything longer than 20-25 mm (actual protrusion-mounted to tip). 5 mm is a bit of a difference, but a couple people are currently ordering parts for testing. More info should be following about them...

Excellent, think I'll order some tomorrow. I'd like to keep the ambers in the signals, just because I'm afraid my HID's are already blinding people, and I don't want to make it worse. But I'd like to get some bright whites or blues for the puddle lights. Thanks.
*Sorry for the knock on the feet.. |

I would swap the turns with the puddles just to get an idea. They aren't overly bright, and the amber may look kinda cool there while you wait for the LED's...

How hard is it to remove the mirror? do you pull it at an angle or straight out? I don't wanna break any of the clips.
