Make an offer. Next month (Sept.) I will be going to a couple of racing events with my motorcycle - Topeka, KS as well as Putnam Park (between Indianapolis and Terre Haute). I'd be willing to bring the engine with me if someone in either area is interested.

im going to need an engine for my turbo setup. im going to be running it on a stock engine for starters. your engine's compression is a little high for my application though. is all that compression from the pistons or from it having a shaved block/head? i might use at least SOME of your engine if i can.

Assuming stock combustion chambers and a stock head gasket, the pistons would be about 10.5:1. The shaved head have me an extra point. You could easily get the compression down even more by using a thicker head gasket.

10 and a half compression is not bad at all for boost

I agree- especially if you have a tuner that's worth his salt. You might even be able to get 10 or 10.5 with this head and a thicker head gasket. Not sure what all sizes/thickness are available.
