For Sale: Ford Racing (TCS) Torque Converter
Up for sale is my FR torque converter w/ 23 spline shaft (upgrade from 16 spline). I've had it for a while but never got around to installing it. Also putting my focus on the market so I doubt I'll ever get around to installing it either. Price is negotiable but not by much until I sell the focus (would rather it go with the car as a package deal). Not really sure how much these are going for now as they are discontinued but was originally purchased from eBay a couple of years ago. Details on the TC can be found here. Says it fits '00-'05 but I'm 99.99% sure it also fits '00-'11 or ANY 4F27E transmission (hopefully someone can confirm this for me).

Does this do anything to daily driving characteristics or just make it able to handle more power?

I've never installed it so I cant guarantee about daily driving, but im pretty sure it just increases the stall and is able to handle more power than stock without sacrificing any driveability.

The stall speed is 2500 to 2800rpm NA and 4000rpm FI so I was told by TCS.

I thought I was the only 1 to have this torque converter because I've never seen anyone on here with 1.

So, if I were to buy this in anticipation getting a cai, cosworth IM, header, stage 3 cams (and assorted valvetrain bits), and 2.5" exhaust, I would still be able to daily drive just fine? I hate my auto trans and I'm looking to beef it up a bit.

Also, if it gets installed on my stock 08 2.0, would it change anything?

Yeah I have the Lentech valve body on but never got around to installing the TC. Really wish I did a long time ago, would be nice to up the boost
