Rs or st?

I'm looking to buy a mk2 focus (post facelift) sometime in the near future but can't decide whether to get the RS or ST or even standard models?

I want to know what people think of them, handling, performance and what they are like to live with? Is it worth getting the standard model and modding or spending extra and getting the sportier models?

(Currently drive a mk1 1.6 zetec focus)

Yes RS is a beast, Would kill to own one. I imagine it would take 1000's of dollars to get a standard focus to come anywhere close to the performance of an RS. Maybe the Mk2 ST is a nice sweet spot in price between the two? I have no clue on the cost difference between the three Mk2 models seeing we never got them in the US. Also have no idea about the specs for the Mk2 ST, just always heard about the RS, because we were always so jealous to not get it here in the US.

ST was fun and had cool painted features to set it apart, but RS is prolly better.
