2000 se spi manual swap to zetec

im looking to swap my stock spi motor that i jest blew up to a zetec.i have never done a motor swap but read off of this site that it can be done...unless i could find some one in mid michigan that could do it for a resonable price. i need a complete parts list of parts needed to swap a zetec in a 2000 focus se manual. I cant get a donor car or i would jest go that way. pleaze any and all info would be great help. thanks travis

Here is my write up. You'll need everything I mention. Keep in mind that is a auto, and you'll need a few other thing going a manual swap.

Memeber drunkyoda can help answer any other questions regarding the additional items. He does chime in at one point in that thread. Just PM him if you need to know what else you may need.

Of course let me know if you need to know anything else. Keep in mind it will be much easier and cheaper to find a complete donor car than to piece eveything together. The closer to your year of car the better.

thanks! I have looked ur write up over..my bigest qustions are can i use my stock manual trans with a zetec motor? and what parts will i need to switch being a manual, that are diffrent from a auto swap?

No the you will need a zetec trans, axles and shift linkage.
