LawDogg's 2014 Sterling Gray Metallic SE Sedan

Welcome to my build thread!

I purchased my Focus on May 6th, 2014 after trading in my Wife's 2006 Saturn Ion and my 2000 Harley Davidson Fat Boy.

I chose the 201A Appearance Package which includes ambient lighting, 60/40 split fold down rear seats, fog lamps with chrome bezels, leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter, 17 inch machined aluminum wheels, leather trimmed seats with six way power driver's seat, perimeter alarm, overhead console, rear disc brakes, rear spoiler, and SelectShift.

I also chose the Winter Package which includes an engine block heater, heated seats, heated mirrors, and all weather floor mats. I didn't take any pictures when I bought it but here are some from the dealership(sorry). Build pics will follow.

For my first mod, I took it very easy and made sure it was reversable. I felt like the grille inserts were kinda boring so I went to Autozone and picked up some chrome trim with 3M adhesive.

After going through the forums I've noticed a lot of people don't like chrome. Oh well. I'm happy with how it turned out for now but I am going to Dupli-color the grille strips if I can find a good chrome or Sterling Gray Metallic paint and if I find my testicles.

Welcome to the site, though! I don't mind subtle chrome, but I know some people here think chrome is the Antichrist. lol

Snorkel and Shroud Delete

Standard mod, the shroud sucked to get out. My wife walked into the garage while I was ripping these out and asked me if I knew what I was doing. I said, "Its cool, the internet told me to do it."
