2.3L Clutch Options?

I've never had a clutch fail on me, but I feel like I'm right around that point. The clutch releases right at the top of the pedal and if I put a slight amount of pressure on the clutch (such as resting my foot on it) while driving, my RPMs raise as if I'm pressing it in.

I'm not sure if this tells me that my clutch is going or not, but I've got about 107k miles on the car. I'd like to squeak out every mile I possibly can, but I also don't want to be stuck on the side of the road.

My car is relatively stock (BSD, CFM TB, header, CAI, exhaust) and I have no plans to add power other than a tune in the future; I just want this car to last as long as possible, and I hope that a new clutch will last this car the rest of its life.

So that being said, what are my options? I want something relatively inexpensive that will last a "lifetime" on my daily driver (not driven too hard, no racing, no autocross). Also, how long would you guess that I have left on my current clutch and what else should I replace while I'm in there?

oem Exedy clutch kit & add a throw bearing to the order. Central Florida Motorsports & Fwerk's has them. Thats a great upgrade & it gets rid of the dual mass flywheel too.

I went with the exedy stage 1 kit and alum flywheel. Get some chatter when clutch is not engaged but its a nice upgrade

Do you still have the old clutch. I want to replace mine in my 04 2.3 Pzev but I need to know how big the disc is???? Anyone have this info or where can I find it without taking the clutch out. I would rather take it out and put a new one in all in the same day.

You can't machine the oem flywheel being a dual mass flywheel. I'd also replace the pressure plate & throw out bearing. The Exdey oem replacement kit comes w/ a flywheel too. Just add a throw out to your order. CFM or Fwerks has these.
