exhaust tips, why no single tips???
which company sells an exhaust system that does NOT have a dual tip? i find the dual tips to be very ricer.

I think it's mostly due to the fact that there is no factory opening in the rear valance for an exhaust tip. The dual tips have a wider look that tends to be more appealing on a flat rear area. It really has nothing to do with sound, as there really isn't a difference.
If Ford had added an opening (which I'm sure would have been only big enough for a single), I'm sure companies would have went with tips that fit it. I personally am not a huge fan any tip that is mounted below the valance, as they just seem out of place (hence why I did a factory looking dump for my exhaust). Just my opinion though. |
