FSWerks Stealth Exhaust in California

qq for anybody who has the FSWerks Stealth exhaust on a 2012 Hatchback in California.

Did the exhaust require you to remove a 2nd cat? I was under the impression, the car only had one cat at the exhaust manifold. But talking to FSWerks, they said there is a 2nd cat further down.

FSWerks said the exhaust replaces everything past the flexible pipe. I tried looking underneath, but couldn't really see if there was a 2nd cat.

Also, have you noticed an improvement in mpg?

thanks

P-ZEV models have two catalysts, one on the manifold like all 2012+ Ford Foci, and one down stream of this. The majority of 2012+ do not have a second catalyst, but the CA emissions and P-ZEV models do have this. Therefore you would be best advised to go custom and modify only behind the second catalyst.
