I agree that should be easy enough - maybe some krylon fusion for plastics.

Why waste money on DLR's? If you really want lights on in the daytime just turn on the parking lights and crank on the foglights. Especially with the hatchback since the tailights are seperate from the brakelights. I have often wondered that if a person can't see a whole car coming at them in the daytime, DLR's won't help. Just my opinion.....

Good point but I think most people want then these days because they're trendy and look cool. Makes you feel like you fit in with the higher end cars now like the Audi's, BMW's, Benz, etc. When those drivers see a Focus with LED Daytime running lights they start pounding their steering wheels cursing FORD!. WHYYYYYYYY!!!.

LOL. I have noticed that people seem less inclined to pull right out in front of me with either headlights or DRLs on. I prefer the DRLs to the suggestion above becuase you dont have to remember to switch them on/off and the LEDs wont burn out.

These appear to be the near vertical ones directly from China. I've had the link bookmarked as I got ready to buy. Just tonight I noticed new pictures went up showing gloss black. The seller has confirmed black-painted, so the finish might not last, but it is glossy now.

They also offered me the DHL shipping as a discount if I bought two sets, so someone could probably do a group buy on these.
