2012 double din

Has anyone put a double din head unit in the new 2012's I really want to but it looks like a lot of work

can you just buy the ford double din dash from ford instead of buying aftermarket

I did put a kenwood in last week stock speakers sound way better. took an hour it was cake. kenwood ddx419.

The only way to do the double din head in 2012 is use metra kit its new but it works real good.im working on backup cam now,the only thing is the button lights will stay on for 2 minutes after the key is out no big deal. And you will have to use xsvi-5524 interface and the aswc for the buttons on the wheel.

i figured they did since they make a focus with a double din in it i didnt know if that works or not and do you need anything other than the dash kit like an antenna adaptor or anything like that

you are right you need the 40-eu10 antenna adapter. the kenwood to me is the best thing that works in the focus. love that usb i pull all my songs from youtube to mp3 put them on a usb drive. and if you are going to have dvd get the bypass so people in the car can watch when you are driving. i was going to replace the stock speakers when i turn it on i said holy s--t is this the same car dont have to now. the stock radio is s--t.
